Reduced Service
Due to significantly decreased demand for our Placer Commuter Express service to Sacramento, we will be operating two commuter bus schedules each day instead of our regular four schedules beginning on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, until further notice. Modified Service
Beginning July 1st, 2025, Taylor Road Shuttle will no longer be a fixed route, it will be operating as a Dial-a-Ride. The new name will be Taylor Road/Loomis Dial-a-Ride. You make book your reservation online via Go South Placer App or call for a reservation to schedule a ride at 530-745-7560 or 916-745-7560 at least the day before your desired trip time.
Placer County Transit provides Placer Commuter Express (PCE), a weekday commuter bus service that transports riders from convenient stops along the I-80 corridor to Downtown Sacramento.
Commuter service provides trips from Park-N-Ride locations in Southern Placer County to downtown Sacramento in at am with return trips in the pm Monday through Fridays.
This service is open to the general public.
