Exceptions & Explanations
- Fares are one-way, single boarding and payable with cash only. Please have exact change, as drivers cannot give change. There are NO transfers from PCT to PCT buses (see Day Pass below).
- Day Pass fares are good for 24 hours from date and time of issuance and are useable on all Placer County Transit Buses during the 24 hours.
- All purchases are non-refundable.
- Seniors are age 60 and over.
- Youth are 6 to 12 years old.
- Children 5 and under ride free with a paying adult.
- Medicare card holders eligible for half fare.
- These fares are for fixed-route buses and the Taylor Road Shuttle

- Passes
- A 14 Day Pass is good for unlimited rides for 14 days from the date of first use. Available only via Connect Card.
- A 30 Day Pass is good for unlimited rides for 30 days from the date of first use. Available only via Connect Card.

- Transfers are free between Placer County Transit and other transit agencies including:
- Auburn Transit
- Gold Country Stage
- Roseville Transit
Connect Card
Ride transit across the region with a single reloadable card! The Connect Card is available for 7 Sacramento area transit agencies. All purchases made towards Connect Card are non-refundable.
Passes & Ticket Books
- Purchase passes and ticket books on the bus from the driver or at the Placer County Transit office.
- Purchases may only be made with cash, and exact change is needed when purchasing from a bus driver. When purchasing passes or adding cash value to Connect Cards, exact change is needed as the office does not provide change. You may pay the Transit office by using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.
- All purchases are non-refundable.

Summer Youth Pass
Kids can travel around the Cities of Auburn, Rocklin, Lincoln, Colfax, and Roseville easily with the Summer Youth Bus Pass. The pass is perfect for getting to summer jobs, shopping, movies, parks, and other activities. Passes are on sale now.
Students in elementary through high school ride unlimited June 1 – August 31 on Roseville Transit, Placer County Transit and Auburn Transit local bus routes for just $10.
No student ID is required to purchase or use the pass.
